Description

This outstandingly designed hand lamp is creation of Dhokra, a tribal handicraft technique practiced only by an exclusive section of tribesmen scattered over Odisha, Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh. Created with the ancient technique of lost wax casting, the lamp is a work of the finest quality of brass with antique finish. A large base effectively supports the lamp that has engravings all over. The top is shaped like a ‘diya’, an Indian name for lamps basically used in homes and temples for worshiping purposes. Use this antique Dhokra artifact as a diya on your Puja Room or showcase it anywhere on the house to impart an ethnic look to the entire space. The product is free of maintenance and doesn’t require any periodical polishing.
